Human Resources Management – perhaps the most undervalued area in business, yet I’ll argue, one of the most important by far. Most think of HR as where they are hired, pickup their paycheck and receive their dreaded annual review, but real strategic HR management has very little to do with this. In order for any business to succeed it always comes down to its people. If the employees and leadership are not successful, the company will ultimately fail. Great HR ensures people succeed, both individually and organizationally. HR also is the foundation to your culture, you know – what holds it all together like the respect, trust and loyalty your business either has, or does not have from the CEO on down. It all stems from outstanding human resources management. The following are some of my thoughts, ideas and knowledge sharing regarding how HR management ticks.
